When the ship dropped anchor near the shores of the strange island, Drustan set flight immediately to a treetop of the nearby the beach.
Anelia was already tied up once they noticed she has awakened. This time a clumsy bloodsail bucanneer was getting near her, pulling her up from the wooden deck floor and making her walk in front of him- "Now you be goin' t' behave well, aren't you miss? Else me might have t' use t' wooden stick again!"- Anelia just made a disgusted face and mumbled “Like I have an option…”
The tribulation, composed by not more than 15 men, got inside boats and sailed to land pretty fast, seemed they were used to it, and wanted to hurry. Anelia got inside the boat with the human that seemed to be their Captain, Deadeye John, they were calling him. As they were sailing to land he told her with a smirk upon his face -"Well, well gin'er lass, now we be going to meet someone that can make a good use o' you, I bet she be anxious t' meet you aswell!”.
She tilted her head to the side and raised and eyebrow – “What do you mean?”
"You will see darlin', you will see."
As they approached, the beach the mists gradually disappeared and soon landscape shapes could be seen. Sand and vegetation were pretty much like Stranglethorn Valley, which made her believe they weren’t that far. All the tribulation seemed a bit scared and caution, saying prayers and holding talismans, looking around in multiple directions and gazing deeply into the sea underneath them, like if trying to protect from something. Seeing those brutes as scared as her, pleased and intrigued her at same time.
When they set foot on land… a scary surprise made her go cold to the bone… On the beach edge, a group of five bestial Naga Myrmidons were standing, seemingly expecting them. Anelia almost fainted, yet the clumsy Seadog was still pushing her forward along with the crew. Once they approached enough, the Naga leaded them way to the tribe’s camp, always staring Anelia down, with their cold empty eyes.
At the camp another group of Naga was waiting… this time constituted mostly by females, her accessories and staffs defined them as sorcerers. In the middle of them a sand throne chair, where a proud Sea Witch was sitting. She was taller than the rest and instead of hair, she had a nest of thin, twining snakes, her skin colors were purple and pink on the contrasting with the greenish blue of the rest of the tribe.
With a sly kick on the back of her knee, the Captain John Deadeye made Anelia kneel in front of this figure and spoke:
"Lady Scarscale… I brought you a gift, a bein' full o' magic, an offer hopin' t' repay your gentleness o' lettin' us sail in your sea."
Lady Scarscale hissed “ You can call me Ssserena, human.”, the Sea witch who seemed to be the leader of that tribe, got up from her throne, walked down torwards Anelia, pating her face afterwards, in a gesture that seemed more arrogance than caring. Anelia gazed hypnotized into the creature eyes. “To your kind wassssn’t yet denied the beauty… oh ssooo much power and magic I sence in you…”
Power, magic? How could she have that, she was a simple hunter who knew about simple things! A chill flew trough her spine.
Serena Scarscale glanced over the Captain – “Good job human… did you brought the dusssst aswell?”
“Aye, aye M'lady, me crew has everythin' starboard here!"- As the captain made a sign some of the crew started to bring cargo and distributing it to the eager Naga people. When they opened the sacs and checked the contempt (they were known to be a stingy kind) their faces enlightened as many types of magical dust glowed among their multiple hands and tentacles.
Anelia was perplexed with fear and the oddness of that situation, she didn’t wanted to think what they would do with that dust or with her, but many hypothesis danced inside her head.
“But.. M’lady… “- John Deadeye coughed. – ,"Erm… When we found the little elf we were almost sure, aye she was holdin'.. erm… T' Paladin rapier… Ye know t' one .. eh..”
Scarscaled hissed “ What… The dead paladin ssssword?? The ritual ssssword that we thought it wassss losssst? Where issss it?
The Bloodsails captain was extremely embarrassed "Well.. t' elfie didn’t had it with her.. we didn’t found it, and we thought it was more urgent comin' here.. and brin'in' t' dust as soon as possible.. We tougth your people could always torture her here later t' find out its location.." – Anelia felt the pirate behind her, stop breathing.
Scarscaled hissed, this time the face disfigured by grief “Imbecil humans! Can’t do anything in perfection!” – her expression softened. “Hmm.. but thinking well, this time I forgive you. Your rude manners of torturing could had hurted her in ways she would not fit our rituals anymore.”
John Deadeye released a deep sigh of relief, and continued to breathe normally.
She looked again to Anelia “ And you are going to be a good girl and tell me all about that ssssword later..” a sadistic grin appeared upon Serena face, that turned afterwards to one of her Naga Royal guards – “Take her to the Misty cave!”
Anelia legs trembled when she got up, the fear and the humid tentacle pulling her arm was making it difficult to walk as all the thirsty Naga eyes staring at her. She looked up, sad and helpless, to the treetop where she knew Drustan was observing all the scene, and looked again to the floor. Now she could only wait… no point in resist, everything there was much more powerful than her…
The Naga Royal guards led her to a strange cave forged in the edge of the beach and jungle, it almost seemed made of ice rocks, but soon she noticed it was an illusion. They threw her inside into the hard floor, and a Naga siren conjured a magical shield to seal the entrance. Anelia crawled inside, putting her back against some pointy rocks, at least she could try to loose the rope around her. While doing this she looked to the cave ceiling, some meters up… many meters up was a hole, like a crater, she could see the sky at dusk, the night was almost falling.
As she got rid of the rope, she cowered, hugging herself like in a shell, leaning her head over her bended legs, she closed her eyes and cried until Morpheus arrived.
Laid on the floor Anelia was sleeping a dreamless sleep, the moon shining trough the crater, giving a pale illumination to her face. All was silent until a bird sound disturbed its peace. Drustan had arrived… he would never leave her. As he set foot into solid ground, a first shapeshift occurred, and a cat prowled elegantly to where Anelia was laying, licking gently her sleepy face. She woke up all the sudden, but with a wide smile back on her lips “Drustan!”
The cat did a second transformation and this time a well built long haired Night elf, marked with several tribal tattoos, appeared in front of her eyes. Her face became docile as she gazed into his yellow eyes.
He fondled her face and hair in silence, giving her a kiss, soft and at the same time strong. “Are you alright? Did they hurt you?”
Anelia shook her head, giving in his embrace, in a lasting hug.
“We need to leave this place, I heard them speaking.. they plan to use for a ritual…one that I’m afraid that could drain your life away…”
She mumbled “I noticed… but how can I get out of here…? I don’t have wings like yours…”. He gave back a twisted smile “Maybe you can use mine”. He let go of her slowly and turned his back, leaning to the floor, picking something. “This same rope with wich they tied you up, if it’s still in good conditions we can use it.That crater above is large enough for us to pass. So, shall we climb?.” - he waved the rope at her and smirked.
“Smarty pants”, she mocked. “Alright I want to get out of here as soon as possible, but... where will we go? There is sea all around!"
“I explored the island, there is a part of it that isn't occupied by Naga, it seems desert and there are caves inside the big rocks that form the shores. We must seize the night, when I could help you run a bit faster, and you would hide there during the day. My transportation priviliges aren't enough to take you out of the island I'm afraid..." - he glanced down - "But I did recover your backpack and weapon, the rest of provisions I’ll hunt once we achieve our destiny. You may have to spend a day or 2 there by yourself... for the first time in a long time." - His glance met her eyes again , with a worried expression.
“I'll only be a woman if I'll capable of surviving without you. Your company should be to make life brighter, not to suport my own life.”
He smiled in silence, no words were neaded.
“Now fly…and throw me the rope, I’ll do as you told me.”
And so they did, they got up the crater, and went down the hill, after picking Anelia belongings, they ran and ran, until Anelia was too tired to go on, and Drustan had to take her on his back in his cat form. They achieved the sea caves almost at dawn break.
“Anelia… it seems already too late, you will have to do the rest, be carefull of those waters the Naga live underneath it aswell…”- he sighed deeply while pondering the next words. - "I''ll do my best to gather adventurers to come here... but here's when our cultural problems begin... and our secret might have to be unveiled. Will be hard someone from where I belong to help a bloodelf... and to comunicate with your kind without being erradicated would be a rare achievment. My hope lies in the Taurens of Moonglade, the only from your faction in whom I can trust."
Anelia grumped. “It will have to do…but I still have my own resources you know....” - She laughed at herself inside thinking "Ye sure... you could beat both the bloodsail bucaneers and the Naga alone. You're the wonderelf."
Drustan eyed her with skepticism, frowning - "Right...". She giggled, and he smiled widely in return.

“Before I go…” - Drustan took something from his bags, a entwined crown of wild flowers - “Because a owl doesn’t have much to do during the day without its huntress…” - he blushed.
Anelia giggled and also blushed when Drustan placed the crown over her head, framing the long autumn hair perfectly. “Thank you my l...”, She suddendly stopped speaking, held his hand and made him follow.
She laid on a long rock, and he laid behind her, embracing Anelia’s slim body. The sound of waves and sea creatures echoed trough the cave. She turned her face to gaze at him, patting his long white stardust hair and said “One witch to get us together… and one sea-witch to get us apart…”
He gave her one last long kiss before the sun appeared in the horizon “No, my love… once the Gods merged us together in one, there is nothing that can break us apart.”
She smiled in the dark, and as the first ray of light started to invade the hidden cave, she felt his body shrinking, the touch of feathers, and a bird setting flight…
